D945 motherboard and network

Interesting problem. Trying to install on a D945 board. Basically blows up because there is no driver, apparently, to run the Realtek 8169 ethernet adapter. I know the adapter is good, I also tried slackware 12.2 and it worked fine. I will find a way around it, but see this as a problem as this is an excellent motherboard. I used a D201 before, and it worked great. But those boards are not made now, and the Ebay value of them is as much as hte D945, for some reason. The 945 is dual core Atom 330 for $20 more than non-dual core. Quite a nice motherboard.
