Network install
I am Beta testing the Xipar Network install, and have put the Mobile install on hold due to other HAM related commitments... Rest assured the Mobile install will get done!
I am finding the New Network install is making the different possible configurations of app-rpt easier to deal with!
The capabilities Steve is making available makes the Network version of APP_RPT very versatile with the many different configurations I am using...
I would like to know what different configurations everyone else is using XIPAR's version of APP_RPT for...
My different Configurations consist of...
ARES Wireless Network version with Linked Radios (Not repeaters)...
My home version... (to deal with my Telephone system)
and not to forget, My Mobile version.
I am running Xwindows in my home and Auto versions... Very easy to include with EVB and app-rpt.
Sooo Anyone else care to share???

Network Install (Cont'd) - ARES Comment
I have been too long from making any comments... However,
The Network install works great... I would still like to have a Non-network (Disk) install for those system issues I may run into out in the field! Some of my systems involve a separate (Non-Internet) Network. I guess I could make an ISO of a good install and copy it to a broken system... (Maybe that would save time)
I am wondering if anyone is using the Xipar Box (or any derivative) for ARES or Emergency Communications use. I know my imagination seems to take off when I think about ARES and APP_RPT... I am presently exploring the ability to link systems for Emergency Comms... anyone have any ideas they would like to share??
