Configuring XIPAR Systems for the Current AllStarLink Scheme

To modify your existing node's configuration for the current AllStarLink registration scheme simply log on to your server as root and at the operating system command line enter "xapl 1028" then follow the instructions. All new installs as of 8/22/2010 will operate without modification.

Note XIPAR systems do not accept configuration downloads from the AllStarLink site. Further, do not apply the suggested modifications for an ACID system to a XIPAR system. If you know what you are doing, you can take excerpts from the manually generated AllStarLink configuration files and use that information to modify your XIPAR system. However, we suggest you contact the XIPAR team for assistance which will happily be provided.
