Frequency Agile Remote Base

The system can be set up so that a single radio (e.g. [usb]) can have two separate radio node number appearances (e.g. 2070 and 2071). The purpose is to have one appearance as a Repeater (node 2070) and one as a Remote (node 2071).

When not in use as a Frequency Agile Remote node 2071, the system reverts to using the radio as Repeater node 2070 and switches to the default operating frequency and tones.

When activated as a Remote, only one user can connect to the node. For example, two separate instances of iaxRpt cannot connect to the same Remote node at the same time.

However when activated as a Repeater more than one iaxRpt client can connect to the radio at the same time.
