Touch Tone DTMF Digit Test

This command is available to test the nodes reception and decoding of Touch Tone (DTMF) digit transmitted by a radio transceiver.

Use a Touch Tone / DTMF keypad equipped radio that operates on the node radio frequencies and with proper coded squelch settings.

Press and hold the radio PTT.
Enter the DTMF Test Command (*832 by default).
Enter additional DTMF digits.
Press the '#' key.
Release the PTT.

The node responds with a voice message calling out the DTMF keys that it received.

Missing or duplicate digits indicates a problem with radio levels, equalization or signal quality. Try the "Parrot Mode" to echo back your rebroadcast transmissions. Check your radio connection and de-emphasis settings in the appropriate *.conf files.
