Just thought I'd post about my use of dydns.org's service here. I added a CNAME to my DNS that points to my dydns.org account. This allows kb1gtt.jaredharvey.com to resolve as an IP. If you can add CNAME aliases to your DNS, you can probably do the same.

noip uses a different client than the dyndns one that comes with the package.
its setup has a trick or two but i'll be glad to help you get it going!
