XIPPR General Purpose USB Radio Interface Connections

The attached shielded cable length is 24" and it is terminated with tinned leads that function as follows:

Chassis and Signal Ground - This common connection is via the cable shield and drain wire.

Rx Audio from Transceiver - This input's sensitivity is 50 to 2500 mV peak to peak and is software adjustable for level, de-emphasis and filtering.

Rx Signal Indication from Transceiver - This input requires signal levels referenced to ground that must be an active low of less than 100mV for one state and an active high greater than 2.0 Volts or open circuit for the other

Tx Voice or Composite Modulation - This output's level is 100 to 2500 mV peak to peak and is software adjustable for amplitude, limiting, pre-emphasis and filtering.

Tx Signaling Modulation - This output is 100 to 2500 mV peak to peak and is software adjustable for level. It allows sub-audible and broadband channel signaling to be applied to a separate radio modulation point.

Tx PTT - This output from the USB device is an open collector type capable of sinking 20 mA at 15 Volts.
