XIPPR Private Radio Servers - Overview

The XIPPR system is a new, cost effective way to provide a complete telecommunications system.

At the core of a XIPPR system is commonly available non-proprietary hardware running an extremely reliable and well supported Linux operating system.

A XIPPR system can be connected to a wide variety of wireless communications equipment. Most fully functional systems are directly connected to at least one full-duplex private radio transceiver or repeater. The XIPPR encodes and decodes all of the most popular sub-audible signalling formats.

One of the most dramatic demonstrations of the XIPPR is with it connected to the accessory connector of a radio repeater and see the XIPPR control the repeater as portable and mobile radios make CTCSS, DCS and LTR trunking radio calls one after the other. Of course the system is fully scalable by the adding additional radio repeaters or simplex transceivers to either a single site or multi-site servers.

Further, because the XIPPR includes a full-featured IP-PBX, the radios can make and recieve calls though public, private, conventional or VoIP telephone networks. Multiple sites and signalling protocols can be linked either automatically or intiated via radio keyboard commands. A PC based IP radio dispatch client is available that can monitor or initiate calls anywhere in the network.

Additionally, each server provides contact closure inputs that are programmed to send voice, webpage or e-mails notices to wired or wireless users based on changes to external equipment.

Finally, though there are several standard XIPPR packages available, Xelatec excels in configuring systems to meet an individual customer's specific needs.

XIPPR systems are marketed and sold throughout the world by a family of authorized representatives and dealers.
