How many radio transceivers can I connect to a single XIPPR server?

This depends on the mix and nature of the radio and telephone calls that must be simultaneously supported by the server. If dedicated to handling radio channels only and telephone switching handled by a separate server, the standard XIPPR server has successfully managed 21 trunking radio channels in simultaneous full-duplex operation.

Note that because Xelatec takes advantage of rapidly increasing computer processing technology and incorporates continuous product improvements for quality and performance, this number regularly increases.

Also optional server processors are available at a modest additional cost that significantly increase this number. And of course in large systems, the call load can be distributed across a group of servers working in concert.

In any case, the lowest total cost per calling circuit, whatever its type, is likely to be achieved with the XIPPR server.
