Atlanta Asterisk Users Group Presentation - Pika Appliance Analysis

We presented this slide show at the June 24, 2008 Atlanta Asterisk Users Group meeting. (Note: You may have to right click on this file and download it to your computer. Some browsers try to open Power Point Show files directly but they are not properly displayed.)

Our presentation summarizes Xelatec's work with the Pika Warp Appliance for Asterisk and Linux. Xelatec is a Pika Appliance Partner and offers products, services and systems that utilize this unique product.

The picture below shows our development system for a Wireless Interoperability application using the Pika Appliance. Visible are the PTT radio transceiver, in the center is the Pika Appliance and an Ethernet switch atop the Linux Server that hosts the Pika Application Development System (PADS) and beside it is a simple test telephone. Of course the final product doesn't need the Linux Server. Everything runs neatly on the Pika Appliance.

Here is a VNC session on the development server showing both a serial port communications session with the Pika WARP and a local shell ready to make the sources.

Here is the VNC session on the development server showing the editor in use for the source and configuration files.
