XIPBX Internet Private Branch Exchange VoIP Server Software - Community Edition

Xelatec provides this Community Edition of its XIPBX VoIP software. It can be used to create a complete VoIP server with incoming and outgoing trunks and extensions, call routing, Voicemail, E-mail, Web Server, Operator Console, Directory Services, Interactive Voice Response Menus and more.

This is a network install. That means that you must download an ISO image file and use your own computer to write this image to a CDROM or USB Flash drive. Then configure the target computer BIOS configured to boot to the CDROM or USB Flash drive. When the computer boots the installation will proceed automatically with a few prompts for options along the way. The installation process loads the operating system and all of the Voice Over IP and other supporting software.

Then download this image file and write it to a CDROM or USB Flash drive.

Connect your computer to your network which must provide the computer with a local IP address and Internet access via DHCP.

Set your computer BIOS to boot to the CDROM or USB Flash drive first and then the hard drive. Restart the computer. When the boot message appears, wait a minute and the installation will continue automatically.

Then follow the instructions and prompts. Answer the various questions as is appropriate for your network and installation. The Operating System installation will ask to reboot the computer after about an hour. Remove the CDROM or USB Flash drive at this time. Then after rebooting, the process will continue and take another hour to install the VoIP IP-PBX server software. These times are approximations and depend on your Internet connection and processor speeds.

REMEMBER ALL DATA ON THE COMPUTER WILL BE ERASED AND REPLACED WITH THIS NEW INSTALLATION.
